Robert is the Principal of Compass Wealth Management. He began his career over 25 years ago at First Union Bank (now Wells Fargo) and was promoted to Senior Financial Specialist by his third year. 

He then joined Merrill Lynch to focus specifically on wealth management. Robert finished first in his training class and was promoted to a Senior Financial Advisor position. He was responsible for training new advisors at Merrill’s Buckhead office, in addition to managing his current clients. Robert joined Smith Barney in 2006 where he became a Vice President of Wealth Management and attained the title Senior Portfolio Manager. 

He has a business degree in Finance from the University of Georgia. He also holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designations. 

Robert and his wife Amy have a daughter, Charlotte, and a son, Brady.
