Client Centric Focus

Compass is a boutique Wealth Management Firm with an established client base. By focusing 100% of our efforts on our clients, we are fortunate to receive referrals for new clients from our existing client base. Therefore, our team does not follow the traditional sales model. This means you will never be asked to proactively solicit new clients. Rest assured, you will never be asked for a list of your closest friends and family!

Not a Sales Culture

Company Hours

Our standard business hours are 8am – 4pm. We expect you to put your best efforts forward and be available during these hours. We also expect you to “turn off work” outside of these hours. You can be confident that our team will not be requesting your services when you are not on the clock. We value each teammate’s personal time and have put boundaries in place to protect that.

Vacation

All team members start with over 4 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO). This includes three weeks of discretionary PTO days in addition to the following federal holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Good Friday (half-day), Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Starting at the completion of your third year of employment, your discretionary PTO increases by 1 day per year with a total PTO cap of 5 weeks. Lastly, we work remotely as needed on an “on-call” basis during the week of Christmas.

Half Day Fridays

Our Client Service & Communications personnel take off early at 12:00pm every other Friday (after initial training estimated to be two months). You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here.

We have a hybrid weekly work schedule consisting of two in-office days and three remote days. Our in-office days usually fall on Monday and Wednesday, but can vary based on client appointments.

Pathway

We offer a defined career path so that you know the advancement opportunities that await. You will begin in a client service role while you work on obtaining the Certified Financial Planner ™ designation. Upon completion of this designation (2-3 years), you will transition to the role of Financial Planner.

Professional Development

The better we are at what we do, the better we can serve our clients. As a member of our firm, you will commit to developing as a professional. This begins by pursuing the Certified Financial Planner ™ designation. Our firm will cover all associated costs including the coursework, review material, exam, and continuing education & fees.

We offer a competitive salary with an initial guaranteed bonus structure.

401(k) Match with Profit Sharing

Our firm matches 100% of the first 3% of your contributed salary. You can start contributing immediately and are fully vested. In addition, we offer an annual profit-sharing contribution.

Healthcare Package

Full-time team members are eligible to participate in our group health plan. Our provider options include Aetna and Kaiser Permanente. Ancillary benefit options include Dental, Vision, Voluntary Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance, and Accident Insurance. Compass contributes a substantial amount towards your premium every month.

Milestone Awards

As our firm hits new milestones, we have an immediate PTO + cash bonus award (in addition to base benefits). How this works: Upon completion of our milestone goal, a new hire is immediately eligible to receive a cash bonus and PTO. The only request is that each team member do something new.

Team Events

We embrace the work hard/play hard philosophy. We plan a team event twice a year that allows us to get out of the office and unwind. Some past examples of these events include escape rooms and Andretti indoor karting & laser tag. Lunch is always included and family is invited!
